U-TECK Splicer Table
|
 After many requests from the field to solve the technicians' problem of having to support the fusion splicer in position to splice fibers at the optical network terminal (ONT), U-TECK has developed the Fiber Optic FTTH (Fiber to the Home) Splicer Table. Keeping functionality at the forefront, we have designed the Fiber Optic FTTH Splicer Table to be utilized in any needed position, from ground level at pedestals or hand-holes, up to the 2 to 5 ft range using a telescoping tripod in order to keep your equipment safely at a comfortable standing level, then higher up against a wall by using the strap attachment for wall-mounted ONT's or NID's.
Among its many features, the table has a collection trench around the whole outer edge of the non-skid table top to prevent small pieces from rolling off. There are two standoffs on this back edge that steady the platform as well as distance it from the wall. The adjustable strap snaps together, then can be hooked over the top of the ONT box for use at heights normally not reached by conventional tables.
Our table offers fully adjustable legs, making the height at ground level use from 8 to 15 inches, and has steel struts with no-slip, rubber-covered feet. These struts allow the table's surface to be easily leveled in the event that the ground is uneven. An 11½-by-14½-inch non-skid top is key to keeping your cable splicer and other tools stationary. Also, for your convenience, the table folds up compactly and the legs lock in place for easy transport or storage.
